How do I enter my 1099-nec?

You will have to enter it as Self-Employment income which means you will need to pay your Self-Employment tax which is FICA (Social Security) tax.

The program will calculate that for you.

You can find Self-Employment income listed under income or, if using TurboTax Home and Business, under the Business Tab.
