I am completing personal tax return with w2’s. Why does it say self employed return.

TurboTax Self Employed Online

Where in the tax software does it mention 'self-employed'? Is this when you are viewing your tax return or during the Review process? Please clarify.

That is just the version you are using. The Self Employed version is for personal tax returns with 1099NEC income. Did you get a 1099NEC or 1099Misc for something?
