Question

I did not get any sick leave from my employer when I was out with COVID-19. Can I still get a tax break even though I was not self-employed?

There is no option for employees that were out of work because of COVID and did not receive Sick Leave.

No.   Sorry.   There is no tax break for a W-2 -2 employee for being sick with covid.   If you had less income due to the missed work, you simply have less income subject to tax.
