Question

I do not have a Form 8888 or any other situations that would disqualify me from paying with my refund and I have self employed income. What is going on?

Is your federal refund big enough to cover the federal and state fees plus the EXTRA $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California)?


Why you can't deduct the fees

And I heard you can't use any refundable credits like the Child Tax Credit or Recovery Rebate Credit to cover the fees.
