Question

I have a 1099-NEC and entered all the information. During the check it said I'm missing information, but everything is filed in. Something about link to Schedule C?

You are considered a business so have to complete Sch C. The 1099-NEC income would be entered when completing that form.

As Bsch4477 said, when you have a 1099-NEC, you have to report in on Schedule - Profit or Loss From Business.  Once you have set-up your "business" so you can report your self-employment income and the related expenses, you will be able to link your Form 1099-NEC to that Schedule C.  The income reported on the 1099-NEC will flow through to Schedule C.
