I have my own business and am self employed, can I write off the rent of my home as an expense in 2024 taxes

    If you have a qualified home office, then you may be able to write off or deduct a portion of the rent paid for your home based on the home office size and use for your business.  

     

    You cannot deduct 100% of the rent for your home as a business expense.
