Question

I have received corrected W2 which I received today (5/1). They have sent this on 4/19 and it was for box 12 coded AA 23.

I got out of military in Dec 2023 and I am confused whether I have to amend tax return because previous reported was 7700 and correct information is 7500. 
How do I go about this? Do I need to amend this?

No need to amend. Code AA in box 12 is for Designated Roth IRA Contribution under 401(k) plan. The change in the amount will not affect the bottom line of your tax liability, thus no need to amend.
