I have royalties on a 1099-MISC and it giving me a error message to form a link to schedule c but nothing is missing. what should I do.

There entertainment royalties which are reported on Schedule C. This is not the first year. I cannot link it to schedule c

I was able to go to the business (Select EDIT for the business on the list)

Scrolled down to Business Income

Selected "1099-MISC Income" and entered a 1099-MISC with an amount in box1 and also a 1099-MISC with an amount in Box 2

Nether caused an issue

Could you try entering the 1099-MISC directly in the Schedule C section to see if this remedies the issue?
