Solved

I just filed my taxes four days ago, today I received a 1099-misc in the mail. What do I need to do now?

If the IRS accepted your tax return, you'll have to file an amended return. If the IRS rejected your return, you can add your 1099-MISC before re-transmitting.

The amendment form, Form 1040-X, is not ready in TurboTax. It’s expected to be ready around Feb. 23.

If you originally filed your return with TurboTax, we can help streamline the steps outlined above.

If you used TurboTax Online, simply login to your account and select “Amend a return that was filed and accepted.”

If you used our CD/download product, sign back into your return and select “Amend a filed return.”
