Question

I keep getting error about insurance should not be more than 3000. but I can't correct it???

This is a question in your 1099R and if you were a Public Safety officer. If you answered the question if you were a public Safety officer, there should be a screen that asks if the administrator taken money out for health insurance. The amount you report cannot exceed $3000.

Go to your 1099R, select edit next to the 1099R. Continue through the screens util it asks if you were a Public Safety Officer. Here say yes for next two screens that follow and then record $3000 for the amount you paid out for health insurance.
