I (self contractor) issued a Form 1099-MISC. to a self contractor that help me during last year

I am a self contractor and for the first time, I hired a contractor during last year. I issued his 1099 but when I completing my taxes the only place to deduct what I paid him is under labor or contractors and when I put the total is not giving me the credit of the total that I paid him.... can someone help

    You would include these 1099-MISC payments to independent contractors as contract labor under Other Common Business Expenses.

     

    This deduction will be appear on line 11 of Schedule C, if you are a sole proprietor. It will be included in total business expenses on line 28, reducing income and affecting final business net profit/loss on line 31.
