Solved

I started using my cellphone for business in November. Do I only provide the amount paid for those months OR calculate the total for the year and find the percentage?

Ex. 1) my bill is $90 so for the 2 months, it's $180 and then I apply the business percentage OR 2) $1080 for the year, then apply the business percentage of that?

You would apply the business percentage of use to the total paid for the two months it was used for business.

The cost during the months it was not used for business purposes was a personal expense and would not be considered at all in the calculation.

Thank you so much.  Can I ask a follow-up question to an unrelated topic here or do I need to make a new post?
