Is it legal to file my friend's taxes on my computer ?

I purchased Turbotax CD deluxe version recently. It allows up to 5 federal e-files.

Are those e-files only limited to family members? Is it legal to file my friends's taxes on my computer ?

No. You will violate the TurboTax license agreement if you install TurboTax on a friend’s computer. TurboTax allows you to :

install TurboTax on up to five (5) computers owned by you (at home or at work);
use TurboTax only to prepare, print and/or electronically file your federal 2021 tax year returns and related state tax returns for the applicable tax return year during which you purchased a license to use TurboTax; and
make one backup copy of TurboTax for your personal use as permitted under your license.
