Question

Last year we filed self employed, this year we are not self employed, but turbotax is still filing my income tax as self employed, how can i change it ?

If I understand your question, you are using TurboTax Self Employed Online but do not need this because you are no longer self-employed.

 

To switch versions, you will have to clear and start over. This will erase anything you added since you started your 2021 return.

 

After you clear and start over, you will have a choice of versions to use. Choose Free. TurboTax will ask you to upgrade within the program if it runs into a problem the Free version can’t handle.
