You can change to a different version of TurboTax by clearing and starting over. After you do this, you can choose any version of TurboTax. Select Free. TurboTax will ask you to upgrade as you go if you have a situation that Free doesn’t handle.

 

Clearing and starting over will erase everything you entered so far, so you’ll have to enter everything again.
