On my w2 I put self employed instead of my job title for my ein number is that going to be a problem or can I fix that

What do you mean you put a job title on your W-2? There is no place to enter a job title on a W-2. Do you mean you entered an "occupation" on your tax return? The IRS does not use "occupation" for anything that will have any effect at all on your refund or tax due.

You say you are self-employed. Did you enter a 1099NEC? And did you enter an EIN on your tax return?

Or.....did you do something else? Please explain more clearly.
