Question about 1099-NEC

I do occasional online training for the local Board of Realtors, maybe one ever other month. I have a full time job, am not self-employed, and they are not my employer. Would this be considered sporadic activity?

No, it would be a side gig/freelance work and would be considered self-employment.   Basically, if you are doing the work to make money, it is self-employment.

You can use your name and home address for your on-line training business when you set up a Schedule C.

Follow the instructions in the link below to enter your 1099-NEC.

    I need to enter a 1099 - Am I Self-Employed?

What self-employed expenses can I deduct?   You need the Premium version to deduct business expenses in TurboTax Online.
