Retired , have rental property .. can I switch to actual expenses for car?

I am retired. Car expenses for rental…have used actual mileage in past .. would like to use actual expenses for 2021…any problems if I make this change?

Yes, you are able to switch to using actual vehicle expenses for your rental expense. You will not be able to switch back to taking the standard mileage deduction for this vehicle.
