Can you make federal and state tax payments monthly instead of quarterly?

    Hi Coffmans52,

Yes, you can make estimated tax payments whenever you want. The quarterly payments are minimum requirements, not a limit. Many self-employed people find it is easier to keep themselves on track by paying estimated taxes whenever they get paid.

To make Federal estimated tax payments, if you're doing it frequently you can use IRS Direct Pay or you can set up a personal EFTPS  account.

I hope this information was helpful to you.
