Question

Turbotax business (How do I file as an S-Corp)

I recently bought and completed a Turbotax Business package but realized it never asked what type of LLC I own. When I created the business, I selected S-Corp and know there's a specific tax form for that. However, the program didn't ask...does it know based on the information I provided and automatically generate the appropriate return? Or do I need to file something separately?

Choose the entity that corresponds to the type of return you need to file.

In you case, if you have an LLC with an S corporation election, you will be filing an 1120-S.

That sounds fine however, the program does not ever ask that

It does when you start a new return.
