Question

Under the employment area when trying to figure out what I need. I have an LLC but not a multi-member. Do I select "I'm self-employed"?

    Yes, you are self employed.

    Yes, you are self-employed.

A single member LLC is a disregarded entity which means the income and expenses are passed through to you directly. An LLC is a legal classification and not a tax classification.

If your Single Member LLC wasn’t set up as an S Corp it is a disregarded entity and you file it as self employment on Schedule C.

You can fill out Schedule C and enter 1099NEC or Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Premium or use any of the Desktop CD/Download programs. All the Desktop programs have the same forms, so you can buy a lower version.  You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions.
