What do I input for my self-employed income? All of what I've made/lost for 2021, or everything I've made/lost to date?

Your 2021 Schedule C should only contain information for 2021.

 

To start your Schedule C, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Open your return.
  2. Search for schedule c and click the Jump to link in the search results.
  3. Answer Yes to Did you have any self-employment income or expenses?
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
