    If your child is exempt from Self-Employment tax due to working for you, you can enter the income as other income not already reported on a 1099 or W2.  To do so select the following: 

    1. Federal
    2. Income and Expenses
    3. Scroll down to Less Common Income and click Show More
    4. Start next to Miscellaneous Income
    5. Start next to Other Income not already reported on a Form W-2 or 1099
    6. Say Yes to did you receive any other Wages
    7. Continue through to Any Other Earned Income
    8. Enter Source of Other Earned income as Other
    9. Then enter the description of the income and amount
    **Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
