What should I do with a 1099-NEC from someone I did not do work for? It was addressed to my home address, but included the city of my business PO Box, which is different.

Received a 1099-NEC from a business called Handy Technologies, INC out of NYC that I did not do work for. I live and work in NC. Is this a scam?

This may be a scam. If the 1099-NEC does not have your social security or EIN, if you have one , I would recommend that you do not include it on your tax return, If it does have either of these numbers you may want to contact Handy Technologies to ask why you were sent a 1099-NEC. Do a Google search for Handy Technologies for their contact number and information about the company.
