Question

Will not File using TurboTax because HSA shows $0 on Review page, Self-Employed.

Wife and I are over 50 and TurboTax self employed shows $0 tax deduction for our $9300 of totally legitimate 2022 HSA of $4650 each. What is going on here? Where is our off the top tax deduction for HSA?

    We'd love to help you complete your tax return, but need more information. Can you please clarify your question?

     

    I know you said you are self-employed, but are your HSA contributions shown on your W-2 forms?

     

    If not, how was your HSA contribution reported in TurboTax?
