Question

Are cca expenses automatically shared with spouse/partner, or do I have to split the expense myself and claim it on each return?

We own a rental property together, so the income and expenses are shared 50/50. But this doesn't seem to have happened automatically on the return.

    Are you using TurboTax CD/Download or TurboTax Online?

    Go to "Income" Rental Properties and continue- you will get to the page shown below- which is where you will enter 50%.

     

    Then continue and you will see CCA as below

    It shows 50% of the total entered.
