Bought an online deluxe edition in January, the deluxe version had no problem to file self-employment income prior to 2021, but now I can't use it at all. What can I do?

Can I get some credit and upgrade it to either premium or business version?

If your return needs to be upgraded, you will get credit for the price of a Deluxe return. You will only need to pay the difference.

FYI: If you are preparing your return with a spouse, this counts as 2 returns.
