Question

Does anyone know how to enter business equipment? I own an in home dog grooming business and I purchased equipment specific to the business such as clippers and scissors.

I also have sharpening expenses to claim and don't know where to enter these type of expenses.

Once you are on your return you will go to Income- Self- employed- Self-employed intro. You will be sure to check off that Yes- do you have self-employed income and/or expenses to report? You will continue until you get to "tell us about your home expenses"- below you will see "Other expenses" you will enter the equipment there.
