I went to efile the taxes, but i got an error code 95365 because it stated that there were no entries on line 68140 on schedule 3 which is from box 21 from the T3. I entered an amount in box 21 from the T3?

For the error on the T3 slip not balancing box 52+53 to equal box 21A, trying to enter the sum of 52+53 into box 53 (deleting 52) should fix the problem.

I tried that & the value in box 21 is not transferring to line 68140 on T936.

I checked for updates & it said I was up to date.

    Any other suggestions?

I have exactly the same issue. I got rid of the box 52 and 53 issue but error 95365 indicates that line 21 is not being entered in box 68140 on form T936. When will the update be issued fixing this issue?

@cam222 If you are using TurboTax Desktop, updates were available this week. Please make sure to update your software and try again.

The latest update still does not solve the issue. When a person has a T3 with capital gains in box 21 it is not transferring to box 68140 in Chart A form T936 when you also have capital losses from T5008s. This generates the error when filing.

I am having the exact same issue.  Intuit said that Error 95365 was resolved.  I followed their instructions to combine capital gains in Boxes 52 and 53 and put them all in Box 53.  I also rounded items.  And they are the same as Box 21.  Still rejected by CRA.  Then I searched further and found reference to line 68140 as part of the issue.  Well this line is not equal to Line 17600 or the rest of capital gains calcs in my return.  It shows as zero.  Intuit keeps saying these issues are the with CRA but it seems that the program itself is not populating lines properly.  My software is up to date.  Zero resolution provided.  I hope others are also planning to abandon Turbotax next year.  Horrible experience after many years and poor service aside I would also prefer to support a Canadian company going forward.

Just downloaded the April 14th update. This issue has not been fixed. Error 95365 has not been resolved as you state in your Error Code summary. When a person has capital losses in T936 box 1 Chart A the Box 21 from a T3 does not transfer into box 68140 Chart A.

This is exactly what Error 95365 says when trying to netfile.

"You reported a capital gain from a T3 slip on line 17600 of Schedule 3. An entry is also required on line 68140 in Chart A of form T936. Line 68140 cannot be less than line 17600"

    Please fix this issue asap.
