I am self employed as a fence builder. Where do I claim supplies used. I carry no inventory

You may claim your supplies used in the Statement of Business or Professional Activities. To get there in TurboTax Online, sign in and choose your tax return for the year, then:

> On the left navigation pane, click Income, Self-Employment, then Business or Professional Activities

> You will click "Edit" on the right side of the business you are trying to report supplies for.

> Since you've stated you do not carry inventory, you may instead click "Business Expenses" and report your figures there. Any fixed assets will be another category under Business Expenses called "Assets used in your business and CCA calculation"

Make sure to hit Continue when finished so that your information is saved.
