I have a dollar value entered on my T3 in box 34. There are 2 box 34's listed on the turbo tax form, how do I know which one to enter my amount in correctly?

Hello,

The two boxes 34 listed are for the following options:

1- Foreign income tax paid on investment income

2- Foreign income tax paid on other income

If your income is a result of investments, you should use the first option mentioned above. For anything else, you should use the second option
