I just started entering personal info for my wife and I. It shows my wife's first name and mine as the same and I can't change it on the entry.

    If you have not yet filed the return: If you need to correct your spouse’s personal information, select “[Spouse’s Name] Personal Information” from the “Setting Up” tab/left panel of your TurboTax online under "My Info". Change the name and click the “Continue” button to save your information.

    If you can’t see a “Setting Up” tab, use the grey “Back” button to go back through the pages until you get to the “Now, let's get [Spouse’s Name] information” page.

    Please Note: If you have already filed the return using NETFILE, you will no longer be able to edit the information. The return is locked so that it keeps the same information that was transmitted to the CRA.

     

    If it still won’t let you edit the information, please try clearing your browser cache or using a different web browser.
