If I have a negative number for line 42 of a T3.where can i enter that in Turbo Tax?

    If you have a negative number for box 42 on your T3 slip you need to enter the number with brackets. for example where it says the "amount resulting from cost base accounting: (1,500)." TurboTax will automatically turn this into a negative amount.

    Thank you for the reply but no joy.

    My Turbo Tax program will not let me input either a negative number or a number in brackets

    And I tried every type of bracket

    Any other ideas?
