how do i add my personal travel expenses to my income tax

You can't add personal travel expenses to your tax return, unless you lived in a prescribed northern zone, or a prescribed intermediate zone or you moved for work/school. There is also an Ontario tax credit for 2022 (only) that allows you to claim accommodation expenses within Ontario.
