What will it cost me for the same filings as last year for 2021 or do I have to go and purchase the disc and download?

It would depend on what product you are using and what is on your return.

If you used TurboTax CD/Download last year, and use the exact same thing again this year, you will pay the same.

If you used TurboTax Online, Assist & Review, or Full Service last year, you may pay a different amount as the prices are now based on what's on your tax return rather than just what you choose to use. There is also a special promotion where people 25 or under don’t have to pay anything.
