The return that you mail to the CRA is called a T1 General - Condensed form. This form, introduced in 2012, is designed to reduce the amount of paper sent to the CRA as part of the tax return.

The T1 General - Condensed includes a summary (Form T1-KFS) that contains the amounts from the following forms and schedules:

    • Federal schedules 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13
    • Federal forms: T691, T778, T936, T1170, T1206, T1212, T2017, T2209, T2222, T5004, RC267, RC268, RC269, RC359, RC381, RC383
    • Provincial and territorial forms: 428, 479 and ON-BEN
    • Provincial and territorial schedules: (S2) and (S11)
