Do I have to claim my tuition/file my T2202? Is it mandatory?

    If you don't claim your tuition this year, then you won't be able to use it in the future. Also, if you don't claim your tuition, and that causes you to get a credit or deduction that you should not have gotten, you may have to pay interest or penalties.
