Tuition should only carry over to next year if tax is zero. But I owe $1.4k. Why is TurboTax not applying full tuition amt from T2202, but carrying forward $5k to 2025?

I called in to ask. They agreed no cap on Tuition fees to apply exists. Couldn't explain why. No way to override with Online Version. Can anyone explain?

Can you please tell us what your income source is (employee with a T4)? Tuition can be used on earned income.
When you have a look at your detailed summary, can you tell us exactly what you owe money (line and amount, or a screenshot)?
What is your tuition amount this year and how much have you carried forward?
