Question

As numerous people have pointed out, the State portion of 2023 does not work.

Clearing my browser cache is not the issue.  It says to download the state tax for my state, and then nothing happens. I can't finish my return. Customer service online says they are open seven days a week, but the phone number says they are closed on weekends. Cause nobody does their taxes on the weekends, right?

I paid over $100 bucks for non-functional software, with non-existent or falsely represented "help".

During the busiest part of the tax season, customer support was there 7 days per week.   Now --- after the April 15 deadline ---  they are available Monday-Friday 8 a.m to 5 p.m. Pacific time.

It sounds like You might be stuck in the State Download Loop..

There is a file to load and execute to fix that problem  (IF..if that turns out to be the problem).

Here is the FAQ, below) with the download file to fix it.

....use the whole set of directions, but be sure to use the 2023 fix file link at the bullet point under step #1
