Have a new to me situation.

I am entertaining a new job, and this employer is HQ’d in California, but I live in Wyoming and will solely work from Wyoming.

Will I need to pay State Income Tax to California? My concern is I am going from an 85k salary with my current employer based in WY, to a 100k salary with the employer based in CA. Am I going to see a significant pay raise or does a good chunk go to CA for state income tax?

Single individual no dependents if that makes a difference

No, you don't pay income tax to CA.

You pay income tax to the state where you actually live and where you work. In your case Wyoming does not have state income tax.

However, any time your income goes up, your tax liability will likely go up too, requiring a new W-4.
