Error on GA Tax return for non-resident filler

Last year I filed the GA return and was notified that the Adjustments from Schedule 1 was incorrect.  The state department of revenue corrected the return and adjusted the refund amount.  This year I was very careful in reviewing the return and low and behold the same error occurred.  I can't override the error in the form.  So, do I just file the return with the error and let the state correct it again?

This is willswd again.  To be specific about the error: on page 2 of Schedule 1 line 17 "Smaller of lines 15 and 16" Turbo tax ignored this and inserted 2139 which is not equal to either of the amounts on line 15 or 16.

Please clarify what the GA Form 500, Schedule 1 Adjustments to Income Based on GA Law error is. Please be specific what you're entering so we can test our program to see if we can recreate the error.

It doesn't let me enter anything on schedule 1 for my 2021 tax return.  At the top of page where income is entered a blue box appears at the top of the page and states:  "retirement income exclusion 2,351".  That number, 2,351, is automatically inserted in schedule 1 page 2 line 17.  The instructions for line 17 on schedule 1 clearly state "smaller of lines 15 and 16".  Line 15 entry is 73,916 and line 16 entry is 65,000 and the entry on line 17 (inserted by the Turbo tax program) is 2,351.  The entry on line 17 should be 65,000.  Not the 2,351 identified as "retirement income exclusion" on the input page for income.

@willswd Are you using the TurboTax desktop program for Windows or for a Mac?

I know about the problem with the program signing the wrong values on page 2 of Schedule 1 line 17 "Smaller of lines 15 and 16" Turbo tax ignored this and inserted 2139 which is not equal to either of the amounts on line 15 or 16.  This problem has not bee resolved.

But now there is another problem with the GA return for non-resident filler.

The problem is with Schedule 3 on Line 8, where 8A does not equal 8B plus 8C. I have tried numerous adjustments but I have not been able for fix the error. Line 8B is correct and equal to Line 5 of the form but Line 8C cannot be found or adjusted.

I call support on two occasion. The first time the support men got upset with me and hang up the phone. The second time the support lady was very helpful and tried very hard to resolve the issue but she could not. She created a case report and hopefully someone will provide a solution.

I am also a non-resident filer, and yes I have the same problem this year. Georgia contacted me with the revised calculation (I actually received more money back!) The problem comes up every year, and Georgia "fixes" it by sending me a correction.  Line 17 is wrong, and it is a software bug that does not seem to get the attention of Intuit to fix it. Lines 15-16 are supposed to be compared for the lesser of the two, and 17 is where that result is placed. Unfortunately, the software is not picking up on this.  This has been neglected. Maybe the online version versus my download to Windows version would be better.
