How do I delete a State Program on the Desktop version for MAC

I bought and downloaded a second state (not the one I reside in) that it turns out I don't have income in. How can I delete that State? None of the answers I can find about this apply to the Desktop, Mac version (home and biz) - they all appear to be for the Windows version. Thanks!

This is an involved process that I found online.  It sounds extreme, bit it may work.

Or, you can open a new return and start over. ( You have 4 more available)

To delete TurboTax (TTLS) state-related data on a Mac, you should first quit the application, then remove the TurboTax application from the Applications folder, and finally, delete specific files and folders within your user's Library folder.

    Here's a more detailed breakdown:

    1. Quit TurboTax:

    • If TurboTax is running, quit it by right-clicking the TurboTax icon in the Dock and selecting "Quit".

    2. Remove the TurboTax Application:

    • Find the TurboTax application in the Applications folder and drag it to the Trash Can.
    • If you don't see it, check for blank folders in Applications, as TurboTax might be located within them.

    3. Delete TurboTax-Related Files and Folders in Your Library:

    • In the Finder, select "Go" from the menu bar, then "Go To Folder".
    • Enter ~/Library and click "Go".
    • Delete the following files and folders:
      • ~/Library/ApplicationSupport/com.apple.sharedfilelist/com.apple.LSSharedFileList.ApplicationRecentDocuments/com.intuit.turbotax.20XX.sfl
      • ~/Library/Application Support/TurboTax 20XX
      • ~/Library/Caches/com.intuit.TurboTax.20XX
      • ~/Library/Caches/KSCrash/TurboTax
      • ~/Library/Caches/TurboTax 20XX
      • ~/Library/Containers/com.intuit.turbotax.mac20XX
      • ~/Library/Cookies/com.intuit.turbotax.20XX.binarycookies
      • ~/Library/Preferences/com.intuit.TurboTax.20XX.plist
      • ~/Library/Preferences/com.intuit.TurboTax.20XX.LSSharedFileList.plist
      • ~/Library/Saved Application State/com.intuit.TurboTax.20XX.savedstate
      • ~/Library/WebKit/com.intuit.turbotax.20XX
      • Replace 20XX with the year of the TurboTax software you are using
