Question

I am a part year new york resident (73.7% income allocation) and my City of New York tax ($10,975) is higher than my NY state tax ($8,688). The city tax seems wrong?

My taxable income is 196,481, of which 73.7% is going to NY -- rest to IL. I'm not sure how $10,975 was calculated as my NY City tax? It seems far too high
