I live in one state and my wife lives in another. When entering the other state, the questions are about me. How should I answer?

Will turbo tax let us file with 2 different states?

If you are filing a Joint federal tax returns, the states have many different rules on how to file the state returns. The questions about you seem to indicate the state allows you to file a joint return even though you are a nonresident. You will be able to file 2 different states, but you will have to know the state requirements to see how to file. Post the states and someone can look up the requirements.
