Question

I received a letter today from the state of Va requesting documentation on the air check Virginia station participation.

No clue what this is about.

    The words "air check" and "station" sound like it's about a radio station, or possibly TV. An air check is a recording of what was actually broadcast over the air. I don't think it has anything to do with income tax.

    Is the letter from the Virginia Department of Taxation, or from another department? Does it specifically reference your Virginia tax return?
