Question

I was FL resident before coming GA in Dec 2023. My employer didn't register in GA until Dec 2024 so on my W-2 i have just 1 month income for GA. How to file my TR for GA?

Should I file the amount on my W-2 or the full year amount. I am resident full year and I become resident in US 04/26/2024. I was in J-1 visa.

File the full year resident return in Georgia (GA) and include all of your 2024 wages (box 1) in the state wages box 16. Based on your information,  you began living in Georgia in December 2023.
