Question
I work in MO and live in IL. The taxes I paid to MO are not accurate on my IL return. I tried to edit under "other state income/tax" and am unable to do so. Why?
I did receive St Louis City refunds this year and I assume that decreased the amount of taxes owed to MO. I don't know if this should have translated over to my Illinois taxes. The amount of taxes paid to MO in my Illinois taxes is approx. $500 less than what I actually paid in. I don't know if this is accurate. I tried to "edit" the amount by clicking on the pencil and it won't allow me to make changes. I'm uncertain if this is accurate of if I need to update. If I do need to update, I don't know how to edit. Thank you!
