I may have added MI homestead tax credit by accident when I am not available for that tax exemption

Your income level is $69,700 or less
You're a Michigan resident

FORM MI-1040CR is used to claim the credit. You can check and delete the form if it is included in your return.

I would also recommend that you revisit your W-2 entries on your federal return. TurboTax transfers information to your state return. Check for any typos, like commas, decimals and extra zeroes.
