Incorrect Form IT-306.1 / IT-203 for New York

Hi,

I've gone through my state and local tax details numerous times and cannot sort out why TurboTax is filling in my Form IT-306.1 and Form IT-203 very incorrectly based on the final report generated.

Issues:

1. IT-306.1 Part 1, Row 20, Column B greatly overcounts my "Amount of Column A for New York City resident period" and seems to be double counting
2. Schedule A – Allocation of wage and salary income to New York State is empty. I believe it is to include the dates i moved to new york for my part time residency

Token number: 1297723

For context, I worked part of the year in one state with company A and part of the year in NY with company B

Schedule A on your IT-203-B would be completed if you were allocating your W-2 wages between two states. Right now you're showing one of your W-2s as 100% allocated to NY, and your other W-2 is not allocable to NY at all. Since these W-2s aren't being split, there's no need to complete Schedule A.

For the IT-360, the amount that's showing on your Form IT-360.1 seems to be stuck from the info provided on the wage allocation screens. It seems like you're using TurboTax Online, so you don't have access to make changes directly on the form. It may be best to delete your state and start over to get it unstuck. Are you able to do that or have you already paid for your program?
