issue trying to efile indiana state taxes

When checking state taxes I get "we found 1 area on your return where we will need to review your entries.  When I click check entries, I get the message: We won't be able to E-file your return. Why? Well, it looks like you have a tax situation in the Indiana return that makes it ineligible for e-filing.  Reason for e-file ineligibility:  "At least two of the three withholding amounts (Federal Income Tax Withholding, State Income Tax Withholding, and Local Income Tax Withholding) on 1099-R statement have same dollar amount. Turbo Tax does not support this information to be filed electronically.  The good news is you can still print your Indiana returns and file it by mail.  I have called them twice & they see no reason I shouldn't  be able to file via e-filing.  These 1099-R's have been basically the same for years & have never had a problem.  Have spent several hours trying to get this worked out. Even deleted taxes and reentered still won't let me e-file.  Any quick answers would be appreciated.

Are you using cents or whole dollars? Try changing to whole dollars. Sometimes that will work.

Thanks for the response.  I have tried both ways several times.  Thanks thow.  I  really think Turbo tax technicians needs to make a fix to there internal program rules.  This makes no sense to me at this point.

Unfortunately it is not a TurboTax internal program rule. It is an IRS e-file fraud filter.

I am having this same exact issue and have used TurboTax for years. There is no duplicate or reoccurring numbers like the prompt suggests.

In your 1099-R entry in your Federal return, only enter the Federal Tax withheld.  Don't enter anything in the State/Local boxes (unless you actually had state tax withheld on your retirement distribution; most don't).  If you're an Indiana resident, you'll get taxed properly.

If you imported your 1099-R, delete it in your Federal return and re-enter it manually.

You may want to close TurboTax, clear your Cache and Cookies and re-open the program before doing this.

I too am getting the same error.  I have no duplicate numbers showing on my 1099-Rs so not sure what it is getting this information from.

If you imported your 1099-R, I'd suggest deleting the import and entering your 1099-R manually, as issued.

If you're using TurboTax Online, clear your Cache and Cookies first.
